I specialize in enhancing movement patterns, corrective exercise as well as strength training. Bringing massage, neuromuscular tests and pelvis assessment into my training and programming for other students/clients makes my job, their daily life and activities more efficient all around-knowing they are moving safely and we are working on keeping their body and its parts in the correct position to move at its best.

With nearly 15 years of experience in personal training and bodywork, Brian specializes in enhancing movement patterns, corrective exercise and strength training. He combines massage, neuromuscular tests and pelvis assessment into his practice to ensure his clients move in the most efficient way and get proper results. Brian played a wide range of sports throughout his life from competitive waterskiing and rugby to rock climbing and his broad set of experience and education help him approach each client with an understanding and insight. He loves to get down to the 'how' and the 'why' we perform certain movements and engages the multiple modalities of his training which, among others, include neuromuscular testing of muscles, gate and pelvis analysis and restoration, and RockTape. Brian views all of his clients as one in a million, making it fun for him to craft a cocktail of breathing techniques, stretches, kettlebell movements and bodywork for each individual to not only allow them to enjoy each session but also keep their goals in sight.

Brian has studied at the National Holistic Institute and also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University, Sacramento. He has also has been Strong First Kettlebell Certified, as well as certified a Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-PES). Brian also holds credentials from Neurokinetic Therapy, Postural Restoration Institute and RockTape.

Brian Fox, in particular, is one of those people who seems to have magical healing hands. He gets right to the root of the problem (which can sometimes be less than pleasant), but knows when to back off and helps you relax into it as best you can. He is also trained in cupping and taping which has helped me tremendously.
