As an endurance athlete of many years, I constantly put my body through the ringer and overuse injuries tend to come with the territory. Towards the peak of my triathlon season and a mere 8 weeks from my A-race, I began to develop achilles tendinitis. I sought out a doctor specializing in ART and I could not be more thrilled with the results.

From the moment I stepped inside the office, I felt at home. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming and they clearly love their craft. The quality and care I received went beyond my expectations and I never once felt like "just another client". They not only listen, but they genuinely care.

i absolutely could not have gotten to the start line of my half ironman without the help of the incredibly talented and knowledgable Dr. Aaron. I know how rare it is to find a doctor who understands athletes and Dr. Aaron is that diamond in the rough. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure i was race ready and never once gave me any doubt. While my sessions started out focusing on my achilles, they later unfolded to treatments for a broken rib, as well. He knew exactly how to approach my injuries and I knew I was in good hands. He broke out all the treatments for me -- ART, Graston, cold-laser, power tools, and more. Not gonna lie -- it's not pain-free, but it gets results!! He also tried multiple different taping approaches for me to test in my training to determine what would be best to use in my race.

My treatment plan was well thought-out and completely customized. He put me in the driver's seat but gave me all the tools and knowledge i needed to make forward motion. I even had "homework" and tailor-made stretching routines to complete on my own.

With Dr. Aaron's aggressive sessions coupled with Daniel's massage expertise (the man's a healer!), I'm happy to say that I not only showed up up to the starting line of Augusta 70.3 (a victory in itself), but I ended up with a personal record to boot! I owe it all to Vanderhoof Sports and Wellness Institute and I encourage anyone -- no matter your ailment -- to give them a visit. You won't be disappointed.
